Mike Fernandez. Photography

Mike Fernandez was born in Lima, Peru. He is a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s Documentary Photography and Photojournalism Program.
He recently taught traditional black & white photography at Pratt Institute. He has collaborated with the NY Theatre Workshop, HERE Arts, Ontological Hysteric Theatre and Eyemag Media in theatre photography and multi-channel video installations.

Sometimes my photographs are instinctive and subversive.
Sometimes they come as a broken beat or a hangover from
a poem...and sometimes visceral.
